The aim of the \\\"Campus Carlos III\\\" Strategic Plan is to develop a sustainable, metropolitan campus in the Autonomous Region of Madrid for the purpose of research, knowledge transfer and teaching of the highest international standard and to strive to position the University among the best in Europe in the areas of Social Sciences (Economics, Business, Statistics, Law and Sociology), Engineering (Material Sciences, Computing, Industrial, Telecommunications, Biomedicine and Aerospace), Basic Sciences (Maths and Physics) and Humanities (Philosophy, Language, History, Documentation and Communication).
